I have husband & wife patients. Each with three insurances (primary is different for each). I purchased this office in 2017, and they’ve been patients since 2015. My front office coordinator left me two months ago. Come to find out, she had been basically writing everything off for this couple. My new insurance co-worker has discovered the ledger is a mess. How do we resolve this? Moving forward I believe we have it figured out. But we’re worried insurance may be due a refund. Any professionals that do this sort of insurance forensic work?
